antique shops, stroll through the Louis Vuitton temple. Have a snack at Fouquet's and taste a macaroon at Ladurée in front of your apartment. See a show at the Théâtre de la Madeleine. Hire French luxury at Crillon or Maxim's. Paris is a great party!
The most historic district of the 8th arrondissement, it offers buildings dating from the 18th to the 20th century. Once a promenade leading to the ramparts of the old city of Paris, since the Second Empire, the gardens of the Champs Élysées have hosted theaters, major exhibitions, and ephemeral markets. Extremely well protected, rich in embassies and palaces, it offers many architectural jewels: the private mansions lining Avenue Gabriel are the pride of France.
